Running An Escort Business Takes Business Skills

I run a large and thriving international business providing much desired luxury products to consumers. Our clients vary from the middle class to the extremely wealthy. And our products appeal to exactly that type of consumer. So does our marketing. It is well designed, well worded, elegant and discreetly presented. Our prices preclude the poorer elements of society from buying (or rather, leasing) our products so we do not need to be bothered with mass market advertising or to go looking for mass market appeal. As Tom Ford said when he was asked whether there was a big enough market for his eponymous super high end brand “there are a million millionaires in China, so I think we will do fine”. And we do. I am a Madam. My business partner is a Pimp. And we are not what people expect.

And I had a nice little career in technology before getting into the sex industry. My business partner the Pimp has a BA in computer science and also has an MBA. Between those he worked for the British armed forces doing stuff he does not talk about much, though I know he was in South America and north of the Hindu Kush for a while. The first business we started was 2nd Circle in Marbella and informally our group of businesses is still named after that, though legally it has a much more mundane name. Why give the game away by referring to the circle of Dante´s hell reserved for the lustful?

All the skills that we learned in our previous careers and during our time studying in academia come in really useful in managing and building a string of escort agency businesses across Europe. We have not, by the way, and nor will we ever, work in the United States. The laws and reach of the American legal system make it too dangerous. And we like our business lives to be boring. So we stick to Europe, where buying and selling sex is either legal or ignored by the authorities. A long as you do not act like the pimps and madams you see on the TV, in Europe you can safely get on with your business and be left alone by everyone.
